Tryout Class
Welcome to life in the dojo.
A 1 hour introduction lesson to give newcomers a try!
Heiwado Karate Center offers a one-hour trial lesson for newcomers to determine if they would like to commit to our program. The lesson will be conducted one-on-one with a Black Belt or Assistant Instructor, if available. If not, the newcomer will join the regular class.
Tryout classes are held on the last week of the month.
Our Tryout Classes are the same time as our normal classes:
- Juniors (Ages 5-14): 6 PM to 7 PM
- Adults and Teens (15-17): 7 PM to 8 PM
Newcomers should wear workout attire and bring water.
If you are a student from another dojo you can wear your Gi/Uniform from that school but please wear a white belt until we can determine your rank in our dojo.
